Music has led Alex Seel from Devon to London to Ireland and back to London again. Through his wanderings, Alex has picked up a beautifully crafted, warm, rootsy song-writing style with thought-provoking, subtle lyrics and a gift for acoustic guitar finger-picking.
Having promoted his album 'Shifting Sands' in 2013, while supporting Graham Parker in Italy, he continues to share his music around the UK and Ireland.
In 2015 Alex released his critically acclaimed ‘Other Paths EP’ that leaned towards social commentary.
His newest release (2017) is the 'Circles EP'. Lyrically it explores various self-entrapments or freedom thereof. The 'Circles EP' has also been well received by press (see Reviews) and local radio.
The ‘Broken Faucet Single’ is taken from the 'Circles EP'. It also features the song “Poor Boy” played on BBC Introducing Devon, The Johnny Coppin Show BBC Gloucestershire and BBC 6 Music’s The Mixtape show. "Broken Faucet" was also played on BBC Scotland's Iain Anderson Show.
